About Tom Hunt

I specialize in foot and ankle surgery and am actively involved in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants. Holding both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Physiology from the University of Akron, I obtained my Physician Assistant degree from Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio.

I believe that quality education is vital for patient care and successful outcomes. My off time is spent lecturing and mentoring future Physician Assistant students, serving as an adjunct clinical professor and preceptor at Ohio Dominican University, and directing a lecture series to area Mid-level providers.

This was my first visit to Orthopedic Foot and Ankle. I was there to get a third opinion on a foot situation that I have been fighting for years. I got to meet Tom Hunt and was very impressed with his approach and explanation. He bluntly said, the other two dr's are not wrong in their conclusion, they just failed to explained to me they why and how things will work. He completely took the time to explain in great detail why my specific situation had just cause for a very specific surgery. But, he also suggested a brace that would stimulate the triple fusion and let me see for myself how that will feel, prior to scheduling the actual surgery. Very impressed with how they approach things and explain things in a way that make sense.
