It’s a busy weekend of education and educating for our physicians. Dr. Christopher Hyer, Faculty Chairman for the Ohio Foot & Ankle Medical Association (OHFAMA) as well as faculty members, Dr. Patrick Bull and Dr. Mark Prissel will lead multiple lectures this Saturday at the 2018 OHFAMA Current Concepts in Foot and Ankle Surgery Symposium.
Dr. Hyer, Program Director for the Grant Podiatric Residency Program and Director of the OFAC Advanced Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Fellowship, emphasizes the importance of the symposium, “Sharing time and knowledge with our peers and the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons is vital to the continuing development of improved techniques and trends in the industry.”
The Symposium, hosted by the Grant Podiatric Residency Program and the OHFAMA Central Academy, will present current concepts and techniques in foot and ankle medicine and surgery. Presentations will include panel and case discussions reviewing emerging concepts and technology, ligamentous injuries, charcot and hindfoot reconstruction and more with an expert faculty.
