OFAC & OhioHealth Partner to Support Local CME

December 18, 2012
Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center along with OhioHealth Continuing Medical Education is happy to announce the Musculoskeletal Grand Rounds Lecture Series for 2013 . Over the course of the year, physicians and therapists can earn up to 18 CME hours if they attend all of the programs. This year the focus will be foot & ankle with topics of discussion ranging from  common conditions we all face on a daily basis like, Ankle Arthritis, Sports Medicine injuries and Diabetes, to updating attendees on common office based procedures for the Primary Care Physician.

Dr. Christopher Hyer is the chairman of the program series and will be working closely with other physicians and therapists to put together an informative and interactive series of lectures for each program in the series. Dr. Hyer says, “The concept is to pool the collective expertise and talent of our local musculoskeletal specialists to improve Patient outcomes.” The first lecture in the series is Wednesday, January 23, 2013  at the Westerville Medical Campus Conference Center. The program will begin at 6pm and will focus on the successful management of ankle arthritis with an emphasis on total ankle replacements. We have four excellent speakers lined up, Dr. Christopher Hyer, Dr. Heather Lake, Dr. Jim Sturmi, and Jim Wilgus, PT. 3 CME hours are available for attendance and dinner will be provided thanks to OhioHealth. This is a very exciting opportunity for physicians and  therapist to have access to local, free CME hours and to network among their peers. Please contact Katie Allen at allenkm@orthofootankle.com if you have any questions or would like to RSVP for the lecture series.
