Dr. Christopher Hyer, Dr. Mark Prissel, Dr. Roberto Brandao, Austin Arnett, PA-C and ten OFAC Fellowship Alumni attended the 2018 American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Scientific Conference (ACFAS) this past weekend in Nashville. The conference offers focused educational courses, led by the best and brightest physicians in the industry, as well as award winning research, papers, posters and case studies.

The physicians of Orthopedic Foot & Ankle had a prominent showing in all categories.

Dr. Hyer led two podcasts; the first on Lateral Ankle Instability and the second on Ankle Fractures. He also gave three lectures at the conference, 1) The Importance of Inflammation and Containment on OCD Management of the Talus, 2) Now and Then: 1st MTP Interposition Arthroplasty for Toe Arthritis, and 3) Amniotic Tissue Applications in Hallux Rigidus.

Dr. Mark Prissel served as the Moderator for the ACFAS Fellowship Initiative session.

OFAC Physicians and Fellows were also honored to have five Research Posters displayed at the conference.
