Dr. Greg Berlet served as faculty at the Advanced Ankle Arthritis Academy held in London, UK on May 18 & 19th, 2018. The event highlighted the latest innovations in both total ankle arthroplasty and arthrodesis and provided insight into the challenges and treatment strategies of ankle arthritis. The international faculty provided lectures, interactive case reviews and panel discussions focused on advanced indications, decision making, preoperative navigation, complex deformity corrections as well as revision treatment options.
Dr. Christopher Hyer served as faculty at the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) held May 24-27, 2018 in Kobe, Japan. Over 10,000 orthopaedic surgeons from around the world attended the meeting which was themed “Active Learning and Collaborative Practice” with a special focus on training and educating the newest generation of surgeons. Dr. Hyer led six of the eight lectures offered on foot & ankle topics and research studies.
Dr. Mark Prissel recently spent time in Paris, France, collaborating with six leading and internationally respected foot & ankle surgeons. Together, the physicians reviewed cases, discussed innovative surgical techniques and shared philosophies.
