DAVID S. BUCHAN, DPM (RETIRED)

Retired Podiatric Surgeon

I would highly recommend Dr. Buchan. HIs experience and success rate gave me the confidence to have him perform bunioneictomies on both of my feet, one of which I am still in the process of recovering from. He is patient and kind and has an excellent staff.

About David S. Buchan

Dear Friends,

Well, it’s my 35th year of practicing medicine. I have so enjoyed my practice and it’s been my great pleasure and honor to care for you. I have always felt the practice and my patients were an extension of my family, as we have celebrated many milestones together. But it is time… It is time for me to enter into a new area of service. Caring for people will continue to be my priority but that will look different by the end of the year. I am retiring from clinical foot and ankle practice effective February 14th, 2020.

My best decision in practice was to join my father and brother in 1984. The second-best decision was joining Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center five years ago. These six doctors are bright, committed, caring and experienced. They are nationally renowned and respected leaders in all areas of Foot & Ankle care. I am grateful to have been a part of the OFAC family.

So, after the first of the year when you call the office for Dr. Buchan, I will personally ensure that you are directed to the best doctor at Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center for your specific problem. Ruth Miller, my longtime assistant will continue to work at OFAC and looks forward to seeing you on your next visit. We are confident that you will continue to receive the expert care necessary to solve your problem. We will work hard to get you back on the road to recovery, quickly and efficiently. In addition, your medical records will remain secure at the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center and available to our physicians. We will not share your medical records without your written consent.

Again, it has been a genuine pleasure to care for you. Thank you. I do hope this finds you well and healthy. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to call, (614) 895-8747.

Warm regards,

David Buchan, DPM
