About Dr. Patrick E. Bull

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and came to Columbus to do a rotation with the OFA physicians. I returned to Ohio for residency, and following graduation I entered active duty service with the United States Air Force (USAF) and was stationed at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan. I spent four years there, treating the men, women, and families of the armed forces and was promoted to Chief of Orthopedic Surgery of the 374th Medical Group.

During my military tenure, I was deployed across the Pacific. My missions included: providing medical support to the President of the United States and the White House Staff during the East Asia Summit meeting in Cambodia, assisting with relief efforts during Operation Tomadachi for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan, and being a key member of the MFAST (Mobile Forward Air Surgical Team) in Korea. In 2014, I was honorably discharged from the USAF and returned back to Columbus to complete my fellowship training specializing in foot and ankle surgery.

My experiences as a board certified practicing orthopedic surgeon with the military have prepared me for my practice in the civilian world. The Air Force core values of “Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do” have guided and inspired how I treat my patients and how I collaborate with my colleagues. Outside of work I enjoy golfing, bike riding and traveling the globe with my wife Kelly, and our two children, Gavin and Evelyn.
