About Dr. Roberto A. Brandão

An alumni of the renowned Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center Fellowship, Dr. Brandão spent the past five years at CAO/Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland Division caring for patients in Baltimore and surrounding areas. While there he was recognized as a Baltimore “TOP DOC” from 2018-2022. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where he served as Co-Chief Resident. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) with honors from the Samuel Merritt University of Oakland, CA and completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.

Dr. Brandão is actively involved in research, authoring several peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as lecturing at national and local meetings. He has actively been involved in the training of surgical residents and fellows over the last 4 years, and will be joining the fellowship faculty at OFAC. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and board-certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Additionally, he serves as an article reviewer for the Foot and Ankle Specialist journal.

He offers the most up-to-date nonsurgical and surgical options including minimally invasive surgical techniques, arthroscopic surgery, ligament and tendon repair, total ankle replacement and fracture repair.

Dr. Brandão, his wife, daughter, and Pitbull Zoey couldn’t be more excited to settle down and establish roots in Central Ohio!
